Milan Josovic Struck, Killed by Car on Kimber Drive near Baxter Street in Thousand Oaks
Milan Josovic, 65, has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being hit by a car last week in Thousand Oaks.
The October 15 crash happened on Kimber Drive near Baxter Street, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The Thousand Oaks man was reportedly walking in a bike lane along Kimber Drive when he was struck by a car driven by a 16-year-old girl.
The girl also hit the rear of a utility truck parked on the north curb edge.
Josovic succumbed to his injuries at the scene despite the life-saving efforts by the paramedics.
The teen driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
