Michael Avila Killed in Palmdale Crash
22-year-old Michael Isaiah Avila was killed in a two-car accident on Wednesday night in Palmdale.
The fatal crash happened on Avenue S east of Sheffield Drive at around 7:40 p.m., according to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
Authorities say the man was driving a 1984 Ford Mustang east on Avenue S when he drifted into the westbound lane and collided with an oncoming 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Avila was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
