Matt Wennerstrom Killed in Thousand Oaks Collision

Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Lynn and Kelley Road

Investigators are working to determine fault regarding a deadly motorcycle accident that occurred in Thousand Oaks Saturday night.

It was around 6:20 p.m. when a motorcycle collided with an SUV at Lynn and Kelley Road in the Newberry Park community.

Matt Wennerstrom, 24, was reportedly traveling eastbound at the time of the accident. He sadly died at the scene.

The SUV driver was also taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Authorities shut down the intersection for hours pending cleanup and investigation purposes.
