Mathew Hubbard Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash

Mathew Hubbard, 50, died in a Citrus Heights motorcycle accident on Monday, Sept. 4th at Greenback Lane and Arcadia Drive.

The deadly crash occurred around 11:08 a.m., just west of Arcadia Drive, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.

The motorcycle rider and a truck driver collided due to unknown circumstances, according to police and a report by Fox 40 News.

Paramedics and firefighters responded and transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital. However, the man later died from their injuries. He was later publicly identified by the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.

Meanwhile, two occupants from the truck were not injured and remained at the scene of the collision where they cooperated with police.

Investigators are working on the case, but do not believe that drugs and or alcohol were factors in the crash. Witnesses may call Citrus Heights police at 916-727-5500.
