Woman, 35, Killed in Perris Car Accident is Identified

Marcella Martin, 35, died Thursday in a car crash on North Perris Boulevard in Riverside County.

The deadly crash occurred at around 11:10 p.m. on December 7th, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff’s, Perris Station.

Police and paramedics responded to the 2200 block of North Perris Boulevard and located the woman in her 2002 Honda Accord unresponsive and suffering from major injuries.

She was transported by ambulance to Riverside University Health System Medical Center where she died shortly after her arrival.

The second vehicle involved, a 2014 Nissan Quest, was found on the other side of the roadway with significant rear-end damage. The Nissan’s driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, investigators from the Perris Station Reconstruction Team responded and determined the northbound Honda crashed into the back of the Nissan as it was exiting a parking lot into the northbound Perris Boulevard.

The Nissan veered across the roadway into southbound lanes.

Finally, the identity of the woman who died was released by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner as Marcella Martin.
