Man Killed On Train Tracks In Guadalupe Identified

The man who was hit and killed by a train in Guadalupe has been identified by Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies.

The 59-year-old Luis Cervantes was struck and killed by a northbound Amtrak train as he was sitting on the tracks as the train was approaching. The train engineer honked horn of the train but Cervantes only stood up and did not get out of the way in time.
