David Hartlerode Struck and Killed at Florida and New Chicago Avenues in Valle Vista

Authorities have released the name of a man who was struck and killed by a vehicle at a Valle Vista intersection Saturday evening.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as David Hartlerode, 48, of Valle Vista.

Hartlerode was pronounced dead shortly after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Florida and New Chicago Avenues
