Fatal Crash In Sun Valley Leaves 1 Dead
The fatal crash that killed an unidentified man on the Hollywood 170 Freeway Thursday morning occurred around 4:56 a.m.
CHP reported that an unidentified driver was blocking the HOV lane after it crashed into the center divider.
As a result, an oncoming vehicle then crashed into them on the southbound side of the freeway.
This took place near Roscoe Boulevard and the two vehicles involved were a Chevrolet and Toyota.
A passerby called 911 to report the incident as they saw a man lying in the No. 2 lane.
Due to multiple lanes being blocked off by responders, authorities issued a SigAlert.
Additionally, the eastbound entrance from Roscoe Boulevard to the southbound 170 was also shut down.
The crash remains under investigation.
