Elderly Man Dies After Visalia Crash on Avenue 264 near Road 156

Authorities are investigating a Tuesday afternoon traffic accident that killed an elderly man in Visalia.

The deadly accident happened at about 3:00 p.m., on November 15, on Avenue 264 near Road 156.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a sedan eastbound on Avenue 264 approaching a stop sign when he stop and then continued into the road but failed to look both ways.

Unfortunately, the sedan was reportedly hit on the driver’s side by a pickup truck traveling southbound on Road 156.

Sadly, the elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
