David Massaro, Lauren Barrett, and Margarito Trinidad Hurt in Collision 

Two vehicles collided in Napa County Wednesday afternoon, resulting in major injuries. 

CHP reported that the crash took place around 3:25 p.m. on July 6th. 

34-year-old David Massaro was driving south in a Volkswagen on the Silverado Trail. He then crashed into a Honda that was pulling out of a driveway.

The driver of the Honda, Margarito Trinidad, 47, sustained major injuries upon impact. 

Additionally, Massaro, along with his passenger, Lauren Barrett, 31, both suffered major injuries as well. 

All patients were transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. 

The crash remains under investigation. 

Tips for after accident procedures:

  • Always stop at the scene 
  • Call 911 if there are any injuries 
  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
