According to reports, the incident took place at 8:05 p.m. on Woodley Avenue.

Authorities mentioned 18-year-old Luis Carrillo-Castaneda was driving at a high rate of speed and participating in a nearby street takeover.

In addition, Castaneda was also doing donuts in the middle of an intersection before crashing into a building.

His vehicle left 200 feet of skid marks and also traveled about 75 feet into the back of the building.
