76-Year-Old Woman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash 

Multiple vehicles collided in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, May 12th, leaving one person dead.

The collision took place at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Woodley Avenue around midnight. 

Per reports, a driver failed to stop for the red light and collided with a vehicle that had an elderly woman in it. 

A fire truck was also involved in the collision. 

Sadly, the 76-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and died at the hospital.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

The crash remains under investigation. 

Statistics from 2019 show that 846 people were killed in crashes that involved running a red light and about 143,000 people were injured.
