Fatality Reported Following Crash on Seeley Drive and Miles Avenue 

One person suffered serious injuries and another died following a crash in La Quinta Sunday morning. 

According to reports, the deadly wreck occurred around 9:40 a.m. on Seeley Drive and Miles Avenue. 

Two vehicles collided on July 31st under unclear circumstances. 

Paramedics transported two people to the hospital where one sadly died later in the day. 

An active investigation remains underway to determine fault. 

Tips for after accident procedures:

  • Call 911 if there are any injuries 
  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
  • Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
