Woman, 43, Killed in Hit-and-run Crash in South LA
Kyesha Hardgraves, 43, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Saturday at South Normandie Avenue and West 83rd Place in South Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred around 12:09 a.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The 43-year-old woman was struck in a hit-and-run crash due to unknown circumstances in the Vermont Knolls area of South LA, MyNewsLA reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department sent deputies to the scene and they determined from their investigation that the motorist was traveling southbound on Normandie Avenue when they hit the woman. She was later identified as Kyesha Hardgraves by the coroner.
Meanwhile, the motorist fled the scene without stopping to help the dying woman, police said.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
