San Diego Man, 75, Killed on Pines to Palms Highway 74

Kenneth Macho, 75, of San Diego, died in a crash Thursday afternoon on the Pines to Palms Highway 74, just west of Coachella Valley Vista Point in Palm Desert.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 12:32 p.m. on Feb. 29th, near Mile Marker 88, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a red flatbed tow truck and a white Subaru were involved and traffic came to a stop in both directions, the CHP reported.
