Rollover Crash at 22 and 405 Freeways
Karen Ivette Padin, 34, suffered minor injuries Friday in a crash at the westbound 22 Freeway, just east of the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway in Seal Beach.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 9:55 a.m. on August 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Karen Padin was driving a blue Toyota Corolla sedan that overturned onto its roof in a collision with a black Hyundai Tuscon. A red truck was also pulled over on the shoulder, but it’s unknown if it was involved.
Paramedics responded and reported the woman was bleeding from her head. She was transported by ambulance to Los Alamitos hospital for treatment of minor injuries. It’s unknown if others were hurt in the crash at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the freeway and issued a SigAlert.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on the 22 Freeway in Seal Beach.
