Kalliope Mediciano ID’d as Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on Mettler Frontage Road in Bakersfield
Kalliope Kione Mediciano, 44, has been identified as the Clovis woman who died after being struck by a car last month in Bakersfield.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened in the 200 block of Mettler Frontage Road on August 2, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately established.
The woman, Kalliope Kione Mediciano, 44, of Clovis, was pronounced dead at the accident scene, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
