Fatal Rollover Traffic Accident on I-15 Freeway 

Two vehicles collided on Wednesday morning killing one unidentified person in Jurupa Valley. 

Per CHP, the accident took place on November 17th at about 9:06 a.m. 

According to reports, a Chevrolet Tahoe and BMW crashed on the northbound side of the freeway under unclear circumstances. 

Due to the impact, the Tahoe rolled 75 feet down the embankment and one of the occupants was found unconscious. 

It isn’t clear whether or not other injuries were sustained in the crash. 

Investigators are actively working to determine liability. 

Rollovers account for only 3% of all serious collisions; however, 30% of them result in a fatality. 

According to the NHTSA,  almost 80% of rollovers involve one car. Additionally, roughly 250,000 vehicles that are involved in a rollover are left undriveable.
