15 Freeway Crash Results in Death
CHP reported a fatal traffic accident in Barstow Tuesday night, June 7th.
It was just after 11 p.m. when a motorhome and pickup collided within the eastbound lanes of the 15 Freeway.
As a result, 6 people became trapped in the RV and the truck ended up beneath the motorhome.
First responders extricated the people who were trapped and transported one person to Barstow Community Hospital.
Additionally, one person sadly died due to the impact. They have been identified as 76-year-old Joyce Ann Ellis, of Indio.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
