Deadly Car Accident in Huntington Beach near Newland Street 

Two brothers were involved in a fatal crash in Huntington Beach Monday morning, March 7th. 

The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. near Newland Street and Yorktown Avenue. 

According to reports, the two were traveling in a Ford F-250 before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado work truck owned by the city. 

Sadly, 18-year-old Josh Page, died as a result. His brother, Jeremy Page, sustained critical injuries and was hospitalized following the wreck.

Both also had to be extricated from the vehicle.

Josh was also a star athlete at Edison High School in Huntington Beach. 

The other involved driver, ID’d only as a 38-year-old man, did not report any injuries and cooperated with authorities at the scene. 

An active investigation is underway to determine liability.
