Man ID’d in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision on 710 Freeway

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has identified Jose Guiterrez, 35, as the man who died in a Bell car crash on February 19th.

The death was a result of a multi-vehicle accident that took place on the I-710 Freeway.

It was around 2:11 p.m. when three vehicles collided within the southbound lanes.

Per CHP, a Honda CRV, Honda Civic, and motorcyclist collided under unclear circumstances.

Upon impact, the motorcyclist became stuck under one of the vehicles.

Guiterrez sustained severe blunt force trauma injuries and sadly died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation to determine fault.

JT Legal Group sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jose Guiterrez.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
