Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision in Apartment Building 

A pickup truck crashed into an apartment building in Long Beach Tuesday night, killing a man and his 3-year-old daughter. 

Per reports, a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck crashed in the 6600 block of Rose Avenue and the driver fled the scene. 

The driver is described as a man in his early 20s.

It occurred around 10 p.m. on March 1st and resulted in the death of Jose Palacios Gonzalez and his daughter.

The truck was speeding north on Rose Avenue when it drifted off the road and into the building.

Several residents were injured and sadly the man died at the scene. The daughter sustained major injuries and later died at the hospital.
