Jose Acosta-Ramirez Killed in Fairfield Car Accident

Authorities have identified the man killed in a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon in Fairfield as 22-year-old Jose Acosta-Ramirez.

According to a local news source, the accident happened around 4:18 p.m. on December 3 at the Interstate 80 and 680 Freeway connector.

Per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding emergency crews and medics declared Acosta-Ramirez dead due to the collision.

No one else was reported hurt following the collision.

An investigation is ongoing.
