Motorcyclist, 22, Killed in Crash ID’d
Jorge Sedano Jimenez, a 22-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
The collision involving two vehicles occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Macy Street in Riverside County, as confirmed by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
According to reports by The Patch, the motorcycle rider and a pickup truck collided in front of a Lake Elsinore business.
Despite the prompt arrival of first responders from the Riverside County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Jorge Sedano Jimenez sadly passed away at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck stopped at the scene and cooperated fully with authorities. Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported in the incident.
The cause of the motorcycle crash is still under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department – Lake Elsinore.
In response to the accident and investigation, police temporarily closed down Grand Avenue in both directions to ensure public safety and facilitate the necessary procedures
