Deadly Traffic Accident at Shaw and Bishop Avenues
74-year-old Jon Luis Endara died as the result of a two-vehicle collision in Fresno on Friday night.
The accident took place around 8 p.m. on January 14th at the intersection of Shaw and Bishop Avenue.
Per reports, a Chevrolet Camaro was driving eastbound on Shaw Avenue prior to attempting to make a left on Bishop.
A gray Honda Accord was traveling westbound on Shaw at the same time when it collided with the Camaro.
The Camaro reportedly hit the bumper of the Honda and spun out of control. This caused it to then collide with a Cadillac which was traveling behind the Honda.
Upon impact the Camaro overturned multiple times before landing on its roof on the shoulder of the roadway.
Sadly, despite life-saving measurements, Endara, the driver of the Camaro, died at the scene.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
JT Legal Group sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jon Luis Endara.
Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
