Coroner ID’s Woman Killed in East Los Angeles Crash

Jiu Qiu, 48, of Rosemead, died in a traffic accident Tuesday night at Falling Leaf Avenue and Graves Avenue in East Los Angeles.

The crash occurred at 6:37 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6th at the East LA intersection, just west of San Gabriel Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.

Jiu Qiu suffered major injuries in the collision and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
