Woman, 54, Struck, Killed in Crash at Fresno Intersection

Jerri Webber, 54, of Fresno, died Monday night in a Fresno pedestrian accident at Channing Avenue and Clinton Avenue.

A driver struck the Fresno woman at around 7 p.m. on Dec. 18th due to unknown circumstances, according to ABC 30 news.

The Fresno Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene, but unfortunately, the woman died from her injuries.

Traffic investigators were told by the driver that the Jerri Webber was in the roadway at the time of the crash and that the motorist stopped immediately after. She was later identified by the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner.

The driver cooperated with investigators who say that drugs and or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.

The case remains under investigation to determine liability.
