Jason Porter Killed in Antelope Motorcycle Accident on Walerga Road

Jason Nathaniel Porter, 39, of Antelope, died Friday in a motorcycle accident at Walerga Road and Elverta Road in Antelope.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 8:18 p.m. at the Antelope intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver reportedly made a left-turn in front of the motorcyclist. The rider was traveling southbound on Walerga Road when the bike T-boned the vehicle. The vehicle entered the southbound lanes from northbound Elverta Road, police said.

Sadly, the motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and died at the scene, the CHP said.

The driver in the other vehicle stopped and cooperated with the investigation.

The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified the motorcyclist as Jason Porter.

The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
