48-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Car Accident near Cox Lane
A single-car crash left James Rhoads with fatal injuries Wednesday morning, on Palermo-Honcut Highway near Cox Lane on November 1st.
Police arrived to the area around 6:00 a.m., after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
Officers say Rhoads was driving a Ford F-250 and went off the roadway before overcorrecting the vehicle.
Shortly after, the Ford hit a utility pole. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel later pronounced 48-year-old Rhoads deceased.
