Israel Bermudez and Paloma Casares ID’d as Victims in Winchester Two-Car Crash
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has released the names two people who died Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Winchester.
The fatal crash happened in the area of Domenigoni Parkway and Leon Road at around 11:40 a.m.September 6, 2023, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Paloma Casares, 32, of Hemet and Israel Bermudez, 25, of Buena Park were pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes after the violent collision. Two other people were treated for moderate injuries following the crash.
A white SUV and a big rig were involved in the crash. The impact of the collision caused the vehicles to hit a stop sign and a fire hydrant.
Authorities say about 50 gallons of oil and diesel fuel were spilt on the roadway following the crash.
