Injuries Reported After 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 247

A Lucerne Valley head-on collision happened early Wednesday morning on Highway 247. The accident took place at Rabbit Springs Road and Barstow Road at about 10:16 a.m. on May 19, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two cars collided head-on after one of the vehicles veered into the path of the other. At this time, it’s only known that one of the vehicles is a truck. Both vehicles sustained severe front-end damage and at least one passenger was injured.

Authorities responded to the scene and began treating injuries as needed. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
