Bakersfield Accident Leaves Woman Dead on Union Avenue
The woman who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Bakersfield has been ID’d as Vivian Lajoy Pope.
The incident took place at 9:47 p.m. on Union Avenue on August 20th.
Pope sustained life-threatening injuries and sadly died at the scene.
The driver was reportedly driving a dark sedan but has not been located at this time.
