Hannah Jacks Among 2 Killed in Moreno Valley Crash
Hannah Jacks, 20, was among two people killed in a crash that took place in Moreno Valley on Sunday night, the authorities said.
The wreck happened just before 9 p.m. on November 13, on Gilman Springs Road, just east of Bridge Street.
According to the CHP, Scott Bales, 47, of Moreno Valley, was driving an SUV westbound on Gilman Springs Road when he swerved across the center divider and crashed head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Both Hannah and her father Daniel Jacks Jr., 45, were in the second vehicle and were killed in the crash.
Bales and his passenger, a 45-year-old, sustained major injuries and were both taken to a hospital.
Authorities later arrested Bales for homicide and DUI causing injury. The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
