Gregorio Arreaga Killed in National City Accident on Sweetwater Road
Gregorio Arreaga, 49, of National City, was killed in a crash that took place at a parking lot in National City on Sunday evening, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office said.
The crash took place in the 2300 block of Sweetwater Road shortly before 5 p.m. September 17.
A vehicle traveling in the park-and-ride facility slammed into a parked pickup truck.
The impact caused Arreaga, who was standing in the bed of the truck, to be ejected.
Arreaga was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The accident is under investigation.
