Grand Forks Man Killed In Crash On Highway 2

A Grand Forks man was killed after his vehicle hit a truck on Highway 2, about six miles east.

The 50-year-old unnamed driver of a 2016 Kia Sportage died at the crash scene. The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 3 pm. Sgt. Ryan Panasuk remarked in a media release that Trenton Beckedahl, the 47-year-old from Devils Lake, was driving a 2014 Mack Truck and pulling an empty trailer when the Kia Sportage hit the rear of the Mack.

The truck driver was preparing to make a left turn from eastbound Highways lanes while the Kia was also traveling east.
