Gilberto Cazares Killed in Pomona Taco Stand Accident
On Friday evening, October 16, a fatal car accident lead to the unfortunate death of Gilberto Cazares. According to local authorities, 26-year-old Zumana Martinez from Pomona, was traveling east on Holt Avenue before swerving through the westbound lanes and crashing into the taco stand just outside of the Cardenas market.
Seeking Justice for Gilberto Cazares & the 12 Injured Victims
Upon the disaster scene, Martinez killed Cazares and injured 12 other innocent individuals in the process. Martinez fled the scene and turned herself in a few hours later. On Saturday, Martinez was incarcerated for vehicular manslaughter and a hit-and-run. Cazares was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other 11 victims were transported to a hospital.
