Two Vehicles Overturned After Colliding 

The crash took place on Sierra Highway 168 near Shields Avenue.

Following the collision, both vehicles also went off the roadway. 

A Mercedes and BMW were among the two vehicles involved. The BMW reportedly caught fire and there has been no information released on how many people were injured. In addition, no identities have been released nor has the number of those involved. 

Both vehicles also had to be removed from tow trucks 

Statistics show that rollover accidents account for about one-third of all fatalities in the U.S. In  addition, 30% of vehicle fatalities are rollover crashes. These types of accidents are far more likely to result in a fatality than non-rollover crashes.

  • Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
  • Exchange information with others involved and document everything
