Motorcyclist was injured after an accident in Foothill Farms, CA.

The event took place Sunday, February 28th shortly after 4pm near a grocery store. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries  and was sent to Mercy San Juan Medical Center for medication.

California Highway Patrol did not get full details on how the collision between the GMC and the motorcyclist happened. The detectives involved in the case are still gathering evidence regarding the incident. There was no evidence or believes that drugs or alcohol were the cause of the crash. 

Most motorcyclist accidents are due to lane splitting. When lane splitting the motorcyclist has less space to maneuver around cars. This does not always mean the motorcyclist is at fault, please refer to laws for or against lane splitting in your state for further details. 

Motorcyclists accidents are also caused by drivers being overlooked due to their smaller profile compared to a regular vehicle.
