1 Seriously Injured in Lake Isabella

Investigators are working to gain answers regarding a crash that took place on Monday afternoon, August 30th. 

The crash took place in Lake Isabella of Kern County at about 4:38 p.m. on Highway 178. 

A white Ram pickup truck reportedly collided head-on with a blue pickup truck for unknown reasons. 

One of the vehicles caught fire immediately after as a result of the impact. 

An unidentified person additionally sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. 

The crash remains under investigation. Further details will be disclosed once concluded.
