Fernando Romero Dies in Lodi Accident on Lower Sacramento Rd
The man who was killed in a fiery crash involving two vehicles near Lodi last month has been identified as Fernando Hernandez Romero, 71, of Lodi, according to the San Joaquin County Coroner and medical examiner.
The crash took place in the area of Lower Sacramento and Acampo roads at around 3:33 a.m. on August 25.
Authorities said Romero was driving a black SUV that collided head-on with a silver SUV.
The SUV burst into flames after the collision.
According to the report, Romero died following the accident.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
