Joseph Christopher Rodriguez Arrested in Davis Collision 

Four vehicles were involved in a DUI collision on Wednesday afternoon in Davis, California. 

The collision took place at the intersection of Richards Boulevard and Research Park Drive on December 22nd.

According to reports, Rodriguez, 38, was traveling southbound at 1:40 p.m. before slamming into the back of another vehicle.

The vehicle Rodriguez slammed into was occupied by a father and his teenage daughter. 

Upon impact, a chain-reaction was triggered involving multiple vehicles. 

Additionally, the father and daughter sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

Joseph Christopher Rodriguez was intoxicated at the time of the crash and was booked into the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of DUI.

According to NHTSA, more than a quarter (25%) of accident-related deaths are linked to the use of alcohol.
