Young Woman Died in Crash

19-year-old passenger died in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning, September 28th. 

The fatal accident took place around 1:12 a.m. on Live Oak Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon. 

According to CHP, Remigio was trapped inside a Honda Fit following the accident and sustained life-threatening injuries. 

Unfortunately, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Additionally, one other unidentified person was transported to Mission Hospital with unspecified injuries. 

It is also unknown how many vehicles were involved in the crash. 

Authorities issued a SigAlert that lasted three hours as they investigated and cleaned up the scene. 

Tow trucks were also used to remove one of the vehicles for evidence.
