Fatal Collision in Pacoima

Five people were injured and one killed in a Sunday evening accident in Pacoima. 

The fatal crash occurred around 8:35 p.m. on September 26th on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. 

According to reports, Edvin Raymundo was making a right turn in his Toyota pickup from Mercer Street. 

Raymundo reportedly pulled out in front of a southbound Dodge Charger on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. 

As a result, the Dodge collided with the pickup truck then crashed into a cinderblock wall. This was right outside an apartment building at 10460 Laurel Canyon Boulevard. 

Two of the adults and three of the juveniles that were inside the Dodge sustained unspecified injuries. Firefighters were needed to help free two people from the vehicle and they were all transported to a nearby hospital. 

Edvin Remundo sadly died at the scene of the crash. 

Additionally, an 11-year-old boy inside of the apartment building suffered a cut finger.
