Motorcycle Rider Dies Following Van Accident
Investigators are working to determine fault regarding a deadly motorcycle crash in Riverside Thursday afternoon.
It was around 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of University Avenue and Orange Street when the crash occurred.
Police reported that a Ford Transit Connect van heading west crossed paths with the eastbound motorcyclist.
It is unclear at this time what caused the collision.
The rider was taken to Riverside Community Hospital where he sadly died due to his injuries.
The van driver did not suffer any injuries and stayed at the scene to cooperate.
