The California Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that happened early Thursday morning on Vermont Avenue in South Los Angeles. The multi-vehicle crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on May 13.

According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles collided on the road and left one person dead. The victim has not yet been identified.
