One Person Dies After Collision on 205 Freeway

A tow truck, sedan, and two other vehicles collided on Thursday afternoon resulting in the death of one person.

The crash took place around 1:45 p.m. on December 2nd on the Interstate 205 Freeway.

Per reports, the crash initiated when a tow truck rear-ended a sedan in the westbound lanes.

Following that collision, two other vehicles became involved under unclear circumstances.

Firefighters were also needed to extricate one person trapped inside a vehicle.

One person unfortunately died upon impact.

California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the cause of the accident.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
