Fatal Encino Motorcycle Accident on 101 Freeway

A fatal Encino motorcycle accident took place on Tuesday, February 21, just before 8 PM. According to California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist and a white Ford Explorer collided for unknown reasons.

Investigating the Encino Motorcycle Accident

While it’s unclear as to how or why the two vehicles collided, it’s certain that the incident took place along the eastbound region of the 101 freeway, just by White Oak Avenue. Upon collision, the motorist became trapped under the SUV. When paramedics arrived to the scene, they found the motorist beneath the vehicle. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The name of the deceased has been withheld in notification of next of kin. The health or status of any injuries from the SUV motorist is unknown. An investigation is currently in progress.
