Fatal Car Accident Occurred on South Elm Ave in Fresno County, CA on July 31st

Reports from California Highway Patrol revealed that the solo-vehicle collision involving an SUV happened while heading southbound. Just north of W. Rose Ave, the SUV collided with a large tree on Elm Ave thus causing the Ford Expedition to overturn on its side.

The collision also took place on a residential property.

David Singh was behind the wheel and none of those fatally injured were wearing seatbelts. For this reason, all three people were  partially ejected from the vehicle.

Investigators are seeking answers as to what caused Singh to veer off the roadway. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the NHTSA, 47% of passengers in fatal accidents that occurred in 2019 were not wearing seat belts. In 2017, it was estimated that seat belts saved 14,955 lives.
