Evonnie Caceres Killed in Car Accident at Victory and Magnolia Boulevards in Burbank

A 24-year-old woman was killed in a car crash at an intersection in Burbank on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Burbank Police Department, the accident happened at Victory and Magnolia Boulevards at around 2:15 p.m.

A white Dodge Challenger reportedly attempted to speed through the intersection but hit a black Nissan SUV that was making a left turn.

The impact of the collision caused the Challenger to strike a curb and hit a traffic signal pole.

Evonnie Nicole Caceres was in the passenger seat of a white Dodge Challenger and was transported to Holy Cross Medical Center where she died while receiving treatment.

The driver of the Dodge was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was unhurt.

Authorities say a pedestrian standing on the street corner was hit by debris from the crash and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
