Downey Couple Killed in Crash in South Gate

Sergeant Emilio Guerrero, 52, and wife, Annabel Guerrero, 47, died in a two-vehicle crash at Paramount Boulevard and Gardendale Street in South Gate.

The collision occurred at around 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8th, according to MyNewsLA.

Emilio Guerrero was an investigator with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Annabel Guerrero was a teacher and the couple lived in Downey, according to a Downey Police Department press release.

The couple died in a collision with a 60-year-old South Gate man who reportedly crashed into their vehicle due to unknown circumstances.

Police are investigating what led to the collision.
